PNG is mainly comprised of Methane (CH4) with low percentage of other higher hydrocarbons. The ratio of Carbon to Hydrogen is low in Methane; therefore it burns completely proving it as an environment friendly fossil fuel. Pipeline network is needed for its transportation to the consumers and hence often referred as Piped Natural Gas (PNG).
Yes it is absolutely safe since no storage is required at consumer’s premises unlike LPG cylinders and thus ensures higher safety. Besides PNG is lighter than air which makes it to dissipate rapidly in case of any leakage and thus avoids spontaneous flammability.
Yes absolutely. The source of PNG in Solapur is the SHOLAGASCO’s R-LNG facility at Solapur City which offers the convenience of ensuring the continuous and adequate supply of PNG at all times without the need of storing gas in cylinders.

Yes. You will have to make some very basic changes to your stove which will be carried out by our authorized technician at the time of connection.
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has decided to allow PNG connection holders to keep one LPG connection in their household and permit Public Sector Oil & Marketing Companies (OMCs) to supply LPG at non-subsidized rate. In this regard the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation of Supply and Distribution order, 2000 has accordingly been amended as per notification issued vide Gazette Notification of India General Statutory Rule.
You will receive your gas bills from the gas company just like you receive your electricity bills. Billing will be done as per actual meter reading taken from the Gas Meter which will be installed at your home at the time of taking connection. Once you receive the bill, you will have to deposit the bill amount by Cash/Cheque or Online mode before due date to avoid any late payment penalty charges. You can also make advance payments towards the PNG Bill.
Yes absolutely. You will have to make an application in writing and our authorized personnel will visit your premises and identify multiple points for gas connection subject to fulfillment of safety criteria. Upon your confirmation to the identified points, you will have to deposit the amount estimated by our authorized personnel and you will get the multiple points for PNG connection.

In case you smell any leakage, you need immediately inform the gas company’s emergency Phone No. 9600006004 without any delay. Upon your informing about the incident, a company authorized technician will come and rectify any leakage issue with the connection.
